PTSD & Trauma

Trauma doesn't just live in the past. With the right support, healing is possible.

Trauma can take many forms — a single overwhelming event, or a pattern of experiences over time. PTSD and trauma-related conditions can show up as intrusive memories, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, sleep disturbances, or a persistent sense of danger even when you're safe.I approach trauma-informed care with sensitivity, patience, and a deep respect for your pace. We'll never move faster than you're ready to go. For many patients, medication plays an important role in reducing the intensity of trauma symptoms — making it possible to engage more fully in therapy, daily life, and healing.
